The terms of this portal, and the terms of redeeming a piece.

The portal
What this is
This portal is operated by Provatek on behalf of Asprey Studio. It lets the holder of a token in one of Asprey’s collections redeem the physical piece that token entitles them to, and follow it until it arrives.
What it is not
The portal does not sell tokens, hold funds, or move any asset in your wallet. Signing in and redeeming ask your wallet for a signature or, on Ethereum, the redemption transaction the contract itself defines. Nothing else is ever requested.
Your account
A piece belongs to the wallet that redeemed it. Keep that wallet safe; Provatek cannot restore access to a wallet and cannot move a piece to a different one. Changes to a delivery address must be signed by a wallet on the account.
Quotes and payment
Some choices are made to order and quoted before work begins. Quotes are accepted or declined here and settled with Asprey Studio directly. Declining a quote does not affect your redemption.
Changes
Provatek may change or withdraw the portal. A redemption already recorded is not affected by that, and its record can be verified on the relevant blockchain independently of this portal.
Responsibility
What the operator is, and is not
Provatek operates this portal as a service. Provatek does not make, sell, own or deliver any piece, and is not a party to any sale, quote or payment between you and Asprey Studio. Your rights in relation to the piece itself, including its quality, delivery and any refund, are against Asprey Studio and are not reduced by these terms.
The blockchain
Provatek does not control the Ethereum or Bitcoin networks and cannot promise that any transaction will be confirmed, or confirmed in time. A redemption transaction, once sent, cannot be cancelled, changed or reversed by Provatek or anyone else. You are responsible for reviewing what your wallet shows you before you approve it.
Your wallet and your account
Your wallet and its keys are yours. Provatek never holds them and cannot recover them. Provatek is not responsible for loss caused by a compromised wallet, a compromised email account, a phishing site imitating this portal, or anyone you allow to use your session. Only ever sign for this portal at provatek.io.
The service
The portal is provided as it is. Provatek does not promise that it will be uninterrupted, free of error, or available at any particular time, and may suspend it for maintenance or security. Records already written to a blockchain are not affected by the portal being unavailable.
Limits
Provatek is not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from the portal. Provatek’s total liability to you arising from the portal is limited to the greater of £100 and any sums you have paid to Provatek in the twelve months before the claim.
What is not limited
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Redeeming a piece
These are Asprey’s terms, and the same wording you accept before a redemption. Where a term applies only to certain choices, it says so.
- I confirm this wallet is mine and that I own the token I am redeeming.
- I understand this redemption is recorded on the blockchain, can be made only once for this token, and cannot be reversed.
- I understand one piece only is redeemable against each token.
- I understand the piece belongs to the wallet that redeems it, and that selling the token afterwards does not transfer the piece.
- I understand it is my responsibility to give Asprey the correct size, that Asprey is not accountable for an incorrect size, and that a piece made to the size I give cannot be returned or exchanged.
- I understand Asprey cannot accept refunds or exchanges of a redeemed piece. This does not affect my statutory rights.
- I confirm the delivery details I have given are correct, and I understand I can change them until the piece is ready to ship.
- I understand that shipping, duties, import taxes, VAT and any local charges are my responsibility and will be quoted separately.
- I understand the additions I have chosen are a bespoke service that Asprey may charge for, that I should speak to Asprey Studio before confirming this redemption, and that Asprey will quote before any work begins. (Applies to chargeable options.)
